How Speed Tec Works

Ignition
The spark plug fires, igniting
the fuel-air mixture. This
leads to the formation of a
flame kernel – the weak
precursor to the combustion
flame front. Speed Tec
promotes a more stable,
vigorous, rapidly developing
kernel resulting in shorter
ignition times.

Burning
The flame grows and bulk
combustion begins. As the
flame front propagates
outward, Speed Tec en-
hances the combustion
reaction process, (faster
flame speed, reduced
duration of combustion)
a more rapid release
of energy.

Quenching
Combustion ceases.
Any remaining unburned
fuel will contribute directly
to hydrocarbon emissions.
By extending the
flammability limit of the
fuel, Speed Tec promotes
more complete
combustion and a higher engine efficiency
